Dr Hans Neiper had been using oxygen therapy in his hospital in Hanover West Germany for many years. I had the privilege of going on rounds with him back in 1987, and was amazed at the patients from various areas around the world. Thankfully he was fluent in many languages and would interpret for me what was discussed in so many of those languages.
Although many of his therapies have been considered questionable, the fact patients came from all points of the globe is testimony to the fact he got results. Dr Neiper passed away in 1998.
One of the reasons he was most sought out was for cancer therapy. He showed that cancer can’t exist in environments of elevated oxygen. In fact, many American government officials involved in banning oxygen therapy here, would travel to Germany to be treated by him.
Dr William Turska, who I practiced with back in 1984 was an old time naturopath who went to school with Dr Bastyr, the doctor who delivered me. In 1948 Dr Turska was the director of the Green Mountain sanatarium in Astoria, Oregon. He was employing oxygen therapy for many chronic conditions. Although his treatments were positive, the results he got weren’t as great as he had hoped.
Dr Turska then began researching the role of ozone, a rarefied oxygen. Although quite unstable and potentially toxic, the bacteriostatic and viricidal effect, if handled correctly could make it a powerful advocate in the treatment of many conditions. After experimenting with many types of filters to remove the potentially toxic effects, Dr Turska finally managed to create a unit which could be used safely in the treatment of many ailments. Thus the Aethozol generator was born in 1949. Finding one of these units is next to impossible today. Shortly after his introduction of ozone into the medical arena, Doctors in Europe followed suit, and Dr Turska’s own colleagues began to persecute him over his discovery.
Dr Warburg proved that oxygen kills cancer as far back as 1931. In conditions of anemia, oxygen transport to all tissues of the body is negatively impacted. This is a condition we need to avoid. In most instances where I draw blood, I like to include a CBC to evaluate the body’s blood building and oxygen transport functions. I do this to rule out potential anemias.
One major downfall of chemotherapy for killing cancer cells involves the commonly seen anemias. If we can protect blood production and healthy hemoglobin levels during such procedures, there could be a better outcome from these treatments, which are actually rather barbaric. Consuming a poison in hopes of having it only kill cancer cells, leaving healthy ones alone really doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me, but if we could increase oxygen to the system at the same time, the amount of poison used could conceivably be reduced.
Other areas of hypoxia (low oxygen), can occur if a person is too sedentary. Movement increases respiration, increasing oxygen uptake. If you’re stuck at a desk as I often am, making a conscious effort to take deep breaths and move around can be important in improving cellular oxygen.
Inhaling cigarette smoke decreases available oxygen due to carbon dioxide from the burning tobacco. The same is true of smoking dope. These practices damage the alveoli or little air sacks in the lungs, predisposing a person to emphysema, which limits oxygen uptake. All of this decreases available cellular oxygen, and predisposes to cancer.
When we consider the anticancer properties of vitamin C, it’s not the ascorbic acid offered in the majority of vitamin C products on the market, but what’s called the J factor in the whole food C. This is a factor which increases oxygen carrying capacity of the blood. Pure ascorbic acid is mostly a waste of money. It’s to the functional properties of vitamin C what the egg shell is to the egg. It protects the vital aspects of the vitamin C. Foods rich in vitamin C contains more of this factor.
Keep plants in your house as they take your carbon dioxide and create oxygen for your health and life. The more living plants in your environment the healthier and stronger you will be. I remember being told that it’s important to have living plants in your office. If the doctor can’t keep plants alive, don’t expect him or her to keep you alive.
