Were you aware that emotions like anger and fear add to the burden of metabolic toxins requiring clearance in your body? Every emotion you experience causes a release of hormones and neurotransmitters. Both these substances are needed in small, appropriate amounts to direct your body’s functions.
When you turn the wheel in your car it initiates the turn, but when you’ve completed the turn, you need to straighten the wheel or you will go round in circles. In the same way, your body releases neurotransmitters and hormones to adjust to your environment. After the change the spent chemicals are then sent to the liver to be disassembled with the raw materials recycled to be used later to make new.
The emotion of anger creates chemical changes which overloads the liver. Ephesians 4:26 says “Don’t let the sun set on your anger.” Holding on to anger for prolonged periods of time actually creates liver damage.
Fear overloads the kidneys and can aggravate conditions of high blood pressure. How is this possible? Fear increases adrenal output resulting in changes in anti-diuretic hormone. This in turn alters fluid levels in the cardiovascular system. When this condition occurs, the doctor usually puts the patient on a diuretic drug to reduce fluid levels. This works well short term but can eventually create permanent kidney damage.
In fibromyalgia, there’s usually an overload on the nervous system creating a build-up of neurotransmitters at nerve endpoints creating painful areas on the body. Clearing these requires the nerves to rest, coupled with the use of specific nutrition designed to aid in breaking these compounds down. Observing the occurrence of fibromyalgia and it’s sufferers, we see greater than 90% being female.
Until the women’s movement, where women wanted to carry the same load as men, we didn’t have any definition of a disease that looked anything like fibromyalgia. With more and more women raising children without the help of a caring husband, we’re seeing a greater number of cases of this horrible condition. 1 Peter 3:7 gives us a clue on this one. “Husbands, likewise, submit by living with your wife in ways that honor her, knowing that she is the weaker partner. Honor her all the more, as she is also a coheir of the gracious care of life. Do this so that your prayers won’t be hindered.” (Common English Bible)
The term “weaker” here doesn’t take anything away from the power and authority of a woman. I can tell you right now that even the biggest and burliest men I’ve known could never make it through labor. If us men were required to give birth, the human race would die out in one generation. The man needs to be the sounding board and strength of the woman, When she has no one to lean on, her nerves get fried and we see a resultant painful condition the likes of a permanent influenza.
This is to all you men out there. Learn how to truly be the strength and compassion your wife needs if you want to avoid costly medical bills. I’m still a work in progress myself. Progress is the operative word here. Regardless of how well we are doing, never quit growing. Our women need to feel loved, protected, and provided for.
What goes on between your ears ultimately impacts your health. Learn how to effectively control the thoughts you have, since these translate into biochemical realities in your body. Just as stressful, anxious thoughts can create disease issues, caring, loving thoughts also create changes. There’s an immunoglobulin created in your intestines which protects them from the harsh environment of intestinal bacteria and enzymes. The level of these immunoglobulins is directly affected by stress, fear, and worry, which can send levels close to zero. With increases in stress, I see more and more food allergies and leaky gut syndrome. In contrast, caring, love, and compassion can increase these immunoglobulins high enough to protect your intestinal tissues from damage.
