Viruses exist throughout nature. They exist on our skin, food, pets, and water. Like fungi, they’ll do whatever is required to create the environment within which they can thrive. When this happens, symptoms associated with their manipulation of that terrain can be seen.
Some of the most common viral conditions we’re aware of include things like influenza and the common cold. Vector borne viruses like West Nile and Zika are spread through blood. Likewise, HIV, responsible for AIDS is a blood borne virus, and has the ability to turn the immune system against the host.
The initial intent of our immune system is to create antibodies against the infective organism. When the DNA coding of the pathogen has similar segments as the host, the immune system can begins to attack the host, which looks similar to the invader, resulting in what’s known as an auto-immune disease.
The HIV virus has the exact same DNA segments as human immunoglobulin G. When this virus is active in a person, the immune system actually sees itself as the invader, and attacks itself. This is how this virus corrupts the immune system, causing it to self destruct.
The Papilloma virus carries identical segments as insulin receptors. Because of this we can see an insulin resistant condition associated with this kind of viral load. The measles virus has similar segments as the basic proteins of the myelin sheath of nerves.
Klebsiella Pneumoniae carries segments found in HLA B27, which if attacked can set up Parkinson’s disease as well as a condition known as ankylosing spondylitis where joints become fused. This condition, often confused with arthritis, is based on autoimmune attack.
Since we live in this world and can’t live in a bubble, how do we protect ourselves and avoid the autoimmune outcome of viruses? There are many herbs which impart anti-viral support to our immune system. The most important thing is to not let a condition become chronic to the point where our immune system becomes confused about the true target.
Thuja, which is the herb from the Arbor Vitae tree is a wonderful antiviral, and often used in combination with other great immune supports. Echinacea is an all around immune support which assists in clearing viral, bacterial, and parasitic infections. When using echinacea, it’s critical that the alkyl amide content be sufficient to do the job. Unfortunately, most echinacea on the market lacks this critical component. I have my favorite.
St John’s Wort is more recognized as an antidepressant and anti anxiety herb. What’s usually missed is the fact it’s an excellent antiviral for what’s known as an enveloped virus. Among these is the chicken pox or herpes virus.
Wormwood is commonly used for eradicating parasites. There’s another species of wormwood called sweet wormwood, or Artemisia annua, and it’s universal in going after parasites, protozoa, virus, and fungi. Besides this, it’s anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic. For this reason, it’s included as a focal component in treating many infestations of what we call Stealth Pathogens. The formulation I use has sarsaparilla root to help relieve any die off issues associated with clearing these pathogens from the system.
This formulation has the potential of assisting the clearance of HIV, Hepatitis B and C, Herpes virus, Cyclomegalovirus, and Epstein Barr Virus. The combination of this formula with others like echinacea, thuja, myrrh, goldenseal, St John’s wort, and several others can create an internal environment which not only clears viral components, but creates an internal environment which discourages these pathogens from hanging around.
It’s important to remember that the healthier the system, the less opportunity for infestation. Where I often see these infections, whether it be fungal, viral, bacterial, or parasitic, overall health and wellbeing of the person before infestation is usually less than optimal.
